Our commitment, in plain language

• No ads, ever. Nothing sells attention on a ColorBee page.
• Accounts belong to the parent or guardian — children never sign up or enter personal information themselves.
• No unnecessary data collection. We don't track kids across the web.
• No external links on child-facing screens. Coloring and studio pages never link off-site.

1. Who we are

ColorBee ("ColorBee", "we", "us") is operated by ColorBee, Pune, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains what information ColorBee collects when you use the website, how it is used, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account required

You need a ColorBee account to color, save, favorite, print, or download pages. Once you're signed in, your favorites and saved coloring are stored on our servers so they follow you across your devices.

Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google" to create or access your account, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with ColorBee, as permitted by your Google Account settings. We use this information only to create your account, identify you when you sign in, and communicate with you about your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service, and we do not use Google user data for advertising. ColorBee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage, including pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and similar aggregate metrics. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies; you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser's cookie settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.

Payment information (Premium only)

If a parent or guardian purchases ColorBee Premium, payment is handled by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects and processes billing details (such as name, email, billing address, and payment method) directly, acting as an independent data controller for that information. ColorBee does not receive or store full payment card details. See Dodo Payments' own privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.

3. Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (every month, or every year) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account's Billing tab, or by contacting us.

Cancelling stops the subscription from renewing for the next billing period — it does not end your current paid period early. You keep Monthly or Annual access until the end of the period you already paid for, and the account then moves to the Free plan.

We do not provide prorated or partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers described in this policy so they can perform their function for us: Google (Sign-In and Analytics), and Dodo Payments (billing for Premium). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect ColorBee's rights and users' safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we would notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data retention and security

We keep account, favorites, and saved-coloring data for as long as your account is active, and delete it within a reasonable period after you close your account or request deletion by contacting hello@colorbee.app. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's privacy

Child-facing screens contain no ads, no chat, and no links off ColorBee. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children; account creation and payment/billing information are only ever handled by the parent or guardian, with payment collected via Dodo Payments as described above.

7. Cookies

ColorBee itself does not set tracking cookies for the coloring experience. Google Analytics and Dodo Payments may set their own cookies when those features are active, as described above.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we or our processors hold about you, for example under India's DPDP Act, 2023. To exercise these rights or ask a question, contact us at hello@colorbee.app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ColorBee changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
